The Bergs use a Lely [Astronaut A4](http://www.lely.com/en/milking/robotic-milkingsystem/astronaut-a5) robotic milker to milk their 60 head of dairy cows. Jeff was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis more than two decades ago and the robotic milking machine has helped him continue to farm along with the support of his family. According to the article, Jeff and Jo Berg estimate they're saving six to eight hours of labor daily with their robotic milker. Milk production has increased from an average of 65 pounds of milk per animal to close to 90 pounds.
