Nick Sponsler, Parts Specialist/ Planner
Nick Sponsler joined the Lely team in 2010 and is responsible for ensuring that Lely Centers have access to the parts needed to minimize customer downtime. Nick handles import/export logistics, part support and order administration. He is constantly striving to improve the processes and procedures. “It’s exciting to be part of such an innovative company that is growing rapidly,” said Nick. “When I started, we were a small team, and as we’ve grown, we managed to keep the same enthusiasm for the job. It’s really special to have the support people expect from a big company, with a customer-focused culture often associated with a small company.”
Jimmy Clarke, Material Handler
Jimmy Clarke started with Lely in June of 2013 and is responsible for handling all inbound and outbound material flow through the North America factory in Pella, Iowa. He’s also responsible for packaging up every new Astronaut A4 milking robot to help ensure it is protected on its journey from the factory to the barn. “The people at Lely are really special,” said Jimmy, “I think we do a great job of communicating the needs of our customers and work together to meet their needs.”
