C & C Farm Supply Enters Into Agreement to Become Lely Center Dealer

Lely has announced it has entered into a marketing agreement with C & C Farm Supply, a leading milking equipment company headquartered in Harrisonburg, Va. As part of the agreement, C & C Farm Supply will have exclusive rights to sell and service Lely robotic milking equipment along with leading barn and feeding products in northern Virginia.

“Lely is proud to welcome C & C Farm Supply to the Lely Center Dealer network as we bring Lely’s Astronaut robotic milking system to dairy producers in Virginia,” said Peter Langebeeke, president of Lely USA Inc. “As a Lely Center Dealer, C & C Farm Supply will offer producers in the region the opportunity to incorporate Lely’s Astronaut on their farm, and serve as an unparalleled resource handling installation, maintenance and service calls with Lely-certified technicians.”

Since introducing the world’s first milking system 18 years ago, Lely has installed more than 10,000 Astronaut robotic milking units worldwide and is the undisputed world leader in robotic milking technology.

“Making the decision to become a Lely Center Dealer was very easy. Lely has been the market leader in innovative products that improve efficiency for dairy producers for many years,” said Mike Cline, owner of C & C Farm Supply.  “After visiting with 10 to 12 owners of Lely Astronaut Robots, it became apparent that Lely is in a class by itself with robot performance and other products, as well. We are fortunate to have a service team that is very comfortable with robotics, which makes C & C Farm Supply a confident choice for area producers.”

“Lely has always worked hard to recognize and anticipate the needs of the dairy producer,” Langebeeke said. “The Astronaut is the latest Lely innovation, developed to enhance productivity, reduce overall operating costs and increase profitability through better herd management. We look forward to partnering with C & C Farm Supply to offer producers the freedom to spend more time with family or focus on other activities on the farm.”
